My Marketing Journey: Rediscovering Affiliate Marketing

Posted on October 1, 2024October 1, 2024 by Tim Brownlaw

So here I am, diving back into the affiliate marketing arena after many years, and let me tell you, the reasons are plenty. The landscape has changed, and it’s more exciting than ever.

First off, there are even more quality products to promote these days than there were back in the day. It’s like being a kid in a candy store, with endless options to choose from.

And let’s not forget about the ways you can “reach out.” to your potential buyer audience. The number of folks online is ever-increasing, opening up a world of possibilities to connect and engage.

Plus, people just love to buy “stuff.” It’s in our nature, and with the right approach, there’s a whole world of opportunity waiting to be tapped into.

But that’s when the struggle can begin.

And this is where things can go pear-shaped. Due to what’s out there these days, what is best to start with. Because every great Journey has a beginning and without a clear guide on which path to follow and how to best travel that path, can result in stagnation.

It’s cold on the outside.

By that I mean, most of us start off either reading on whats out there, read a few things here and there as there is a lot of information available… But doing it on your own… It’s like being outside in the cold!

It’s much better being inside within a community.

So this happened to me personally, pretty much by accident. But I guess you get what you wish for.

One thing I decided coming back to this “Journey” was definitely Not to do it on my own. I’ve tried that and a lot of hours went in, along with some money ( too much ) and nothing much came back.

I did make sales here and there. I even managed to make a big ticket sale and got a nice little commission check for that. BUT It was haphazard and purely luck. And definitely not repeatable, which is the number one big killer.

So I had every intention to hook up with a Mentor, I just didn’t know who at the time. I needed to have someone including other fellow marketers in the same boat, where I could float my ideas and creations and get real feedback. And by Feedback I mean real feedback.

Just recently I had created a “music clip” to promote one of my sites. It’s something I learned about from a group zoom call with my Mentor. Actually I had made a few but this one I was more happy to share with the group and public. So I got the “Well done” BUT…. and a great deal of advice followed on how to drastically improve it. The importance of this was that Everyone was able to see what I did, and also they got a lesson out of it.

Here is the Video… I apologise for the Low Audio Volume, but when I was editing I had the volume down a wee bit and kind of forgot to check it…

Stay tuned for the revised version with the recommended changes.

I am so glad…

I am very glad I took the plunge and joined up with Michael Cheney’s Millionaire’s Apprentice Program. It did start off as a massive video course but Michael discovered Skool and that has just brought things to another level. We participate in Contests and Challenges. We are very active as a group and Michael is super active and reads every post and comments where he needs to. How many “Mentors” that you know provide this… And it’s all a part of the package.

Michael and his Dream Team conduct weekly Zoom Calls, plus you can book one on one calls to really get deep and dirty with what you need to do.

So I’m no longer out in the cold. I’m learning stuff I never knew existed and how to better implement those things I did know about and was using badly.

I’m taking part in his launches, I have access to ALL of his past and future products and if I wish to promote these I get 100% Commissions, but best of all I get to master how to be a successful Internet Marketer. And you can too. You can check that out here

The key isn’t just knowing what to do—it’s about committing to one path and mastering it. With the right guidance, success is within reach.

If you’re ready to transform your journey like I did, check out Michael Cheney’s Millionaire’s Apprentice Program and start mastering the art of internet marketing today.”
