So How does this new AI Tool Fly – Day 1

Posted on August 31, 2025September 1, 2025 by Tim Brownlaw

“AI Tools: The Big Boom with a Big BUT…”

So I’m just recovering from a very late webinar I attended at 12am AEST (Australian Eastern Time).
It went into the wee hours of the morning, like 2am,and honestly, I was hooked. Excited. A little bleary-eyed, sure, but fascinated by what I was seeing.

AI Tools.

The facts are simple: they’re here. They’re not going away. In fact, the buzz is that this could be bigger than the old “Dot Com Boom.” You know, the one that made a handful of people insanely rich and left a whole bunch of others wondering why their “Million-Dollar Idea” ended up as a dead website parked on GeoCities.

So the question is: Are these tools actually going to fly? Will they help people like you and me in the ways they promise?

Here’s the hard truth: YES… with a big BUT.
(And no, not the “Does my butt look big in this post?” kind).

The Promise vs The Reality

AI promises to take away the hard work:

  • Write your emails.
  • Post to your socials.
  • Build your funnels.
  • Do your research.

Some even whisper (or shout, depending on their sales page) that AI can run your whole business on autopilot while you sip margaritas on the beach.

Sounds great, right? But here’s the reality: tools don’t create success, people do.
AI is like a supercharged Ferrari. It can get you places faster than walking—but only if you actually:

  1. Get in the car.
  2. Know where you’re going.
  3. Can afford the fuel.

Otherwise? It’s just a shiny hunk of metal sitting in your garage while you’re still trudging down the road in flip-flops.

The BUT Factor

So here’s that big BUT:

AI is only as useful as the person driving it.
If you don’t know what you want, don’t have a strategy, or keep chasing shiny objects, AI won’t fix that. It’ll just help you go in circles faster.

It’s not about “Will this tool make me rich?”
It’s about “How can I use this tool to do the things that actually matter in my business?”

Where I See It Going

The people who win with AI won’t be the ones treating it like a magic button. They’ll be the ones who:

  • Use it to save time on repetitive work.
  • Use it to scale what’s already working.
  • Use it to test faster and learn quicker.

It’s not “AI vs Humans.”
It’s “AI with Humans who have a plan.”

And honestly? That’s a combo worth staying up till 2am to learn about.

In the meantime

In the meantime, I’m going to get cracking on diving into this “new” thing I’ve jumped on board with. So the plan is to give it crack and report back here on what’s going on… Like the “Good, Bad and the Ugly” because nothing is perfect.

Over to You

So let me throw this question at you:

What’s your Big BUT when it comes to AI?
Do you see it as a Ferrari that’ll help you speed up—or just another shiny car you’ll never drive?
